**Estimator**

Franklin Haulage Excavating Inc is a full-service general contractor for commercial and industrial projects in the greater Greater Toronto Area, ON area. We are looking for an Estimator to join our team and provide support to our project management team. The Estimator will be responsible for gathering information from various sources, analyzing the data, and estimating the cost of the project. This position will be responsible for estimating projects that are bid by us, as well as those that are bid by our clients.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, etc.)is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must have **a minimum of 2 **years of experience in estimating construction costs.
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collecting information from various sources, analyzing the data, and estimating the cost of projects.
- Calculate labor rates for projects according to company standards and industry averages.
- Compute total costs of all phases of projects by calculating materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Prepare estimates for each phase of projects by gathering information from various sources such as drawings, specifications, contracts, etc..
