Guardium Logistics Ltd is currently looking for **Warehouse supervisor** to join our team.

We offer:

- Wage: $27.00 per hour
- Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week
- Employment location: 6912 - 68 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6B 3C5

Terms of employment:

- Permanent, Full time
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Employment conditions:Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
- Work setting: Warehouse

Specific Skills:

- Plan, organize and oversee operation of the warehouse
- Select, train, assign, schedule, coach and review employees involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials
- Determine staffing levels, perform scheduling, assign workload and conduct performance reviews
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Maintain items record, document necessary information
- Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts
- Coordinate with maintenance department to arrange for repairs
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Resolve work-related issues
- Co-ordinate activities with other departments
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
- Prepare and submit reports

Qualifications and Skills:

- Ability to speak English
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Supervise: 5-10 people
- Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads; Attention to detail
- Personal suitability: Accurate; Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral communication; Flexibility; Initiative; Judgement; Organized; Reliability; Team player
