**_Casual/Part Housekeeping Attendant_**

This position has no set schedule or guaranteed hours and shifts will be available on a call in basis

Previous housekeeping experience in a health care setting is preferred

Regular attendance is essential

Positive and friendly attitude

Team Player and able to follow directions

**We need**:

- Providing house keeping functions for resident rooms and common area in the home, to provide and maintain a clean, infection free and pleasant environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Ensuring the daily neatness and cleanliness of residents rooms, offices and common areas such as shower and tub rooms, washrooms, reception area, and break rooms, etc.
- Maintaining a clean, safe environment for all residence, visitors, and staff by utilizing infection control principles and practices.
- Responds to contingency codes as required.

Please note that if hired, your employment with Markhaven will be contingent on the results of a police vulnerable sector check and a two-step Mantoux tuberculosis test. A condition of employment with Markhaven, is requiring that all new hires have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada, due to the importance of protecting our residents, staff members and visitors from Covid-19.
