**Electrical General Labourer**
**Role**: Electrical general labourer will support BFG’s Electrical Services team for on-site projects.
**Overview**:
- Assist electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance
- Assist in the setup of electrical wiring for lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems
- Ensure that all materials are on-site and available throughout the project, and that electrical parts and materials are organized and transported as needed to the supervising electrician
- Ensure the workspace is ready for the electrician before the start of a project, and clean unused materials, dust, and dirt as needed
- Follow all company rules and regulations pertaining to safety and safe operation of company vehicles.
- Participate in all training exercises, meetings.
- Work safely both on the job and while operating company equipment
**Requirements**:
- General maintenance skills required
- Knowledge and usage of hand tools
- Electrical knowledge an asset
- Must have excellent English communications skills
- Self-starter
- Valid G driver's license
- Work involves some climbing of small towers.
- Personal transportation is required as public transportation may not accommodate electrical maintenance schedule.
