**What You Have**:

- Preferred experience working with complex behaviours.
- A creative and confident approach to challenges and problem solving, and endless patience.
- Experience with Autism (ASD), ADHD, ADD, ODD and various diagnoses.
- Preferred experience working with children, Disability Service Worker, Social Work, Special Education, Health Care Aide, Personal Support Worker or related field.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training Certificate will be an asset (NVCI)
- Class 5 drivers license, and a reliable vehicle, as our clients may want you to take them out in the community for fun activities.
- First Aid with CPR Level C certification.
- A clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector, and Child Intervention Check.

**We require all respite support workers to drive clients. For that reason we require all applicants to have a valid class 5 driver's license, along with a reliable personal vehicle, updated registration and vehicle insurance with $2 million in third-party liability confirmation is required.**

**About Us**:
Kids Without Limits supports parents and guardians of children with autism and/or other developmental delays, by coordinating temporary relief and the opportunity to take a break from the demands of daily care of their loved ones. The support we provide enables children to have meaningful and successful lives in their community. Kids Without Limits is a locally owned and operated respite agency in the Greater Edmonton area. We are dedicated to providing enriching and engaging experiences for children, as well as the opportunity to relax and recharge for parents. We understand the adversities that families experience when caring for special needs, and that's why respite is our heart and soul

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
