**Responsibilities**:

- Review work orders with Planner and Foreman to ensure correct information
- Assist in yard check reports
- Create detailed work orders for all jobs
- Keep work order status and customer promise dates up to date.
- Set equipment up in the maintenance system
- Work with team to keep planning and scheduling up to date
- Communicate with shunt drivers on pickup and delivery, and shop shunts
- Maintain courteous and respectful communication and presentation with customers and employees
- Ensure accuracy of VMRS data, labor, and parts detail on work orders
- Sell, review and close work orders
- Encourage and motivate fellow employees to work with standards, identify and solve problem
- Document, organize and prepare employee suggestions and ideas for execution
- All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 310T, 310J or apprentice registered with the Ontario College of Trades would be an asset
- Truck and trailer maintenance knowledge and experience
- Prior experience with processing invoices for truck and trailer work orders
- Knowledge of VMRS
- Ability to manage tasks and productively switch tasks
- Comfortable with working in high pace environment
- Strong organizational, time management and data entry skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
