**Autoport Limited is seeking a hardworking Supervisor to join our team**

We are looking for a dedicated supervisor who is comfortable working in an outdoor environment year-round. Located in Concord, ON, you will enjoy guiding a team of professional automotive handlers in their daily tasks and help the terminal, and company, achieve their goals. This position combines the activity of rail loading and offloading, with the challenge of operations and leadership, and requires a flexible supervisor who is able to excel at both.

**Major Responsibilities/Duties**
- Foster safety culture throughout the facility
- Supervise mid-size crew of unionized automotive handlers in an outdoor workspace
- Develop and monitor daily labour plan utilizing established bid schedule
- Provide recommended solutions that will improve the overall operating costs in the terminal
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the production facilities

This position encompasses the management of staff; strategic planning; establishing and accomplishing production related business objectives. The Concord Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring policies are communicated clearly and are being adhered to, recommending new policies/procedures where beneficial, planning the use of equipment/ resources, meeting production targets and corporate objectives while keeping health and safety at the forefront of all decisions. They will also be working alongside their team, helping to motivate, guide, and achieve outstanding results.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driving record
- Satisfactorily clear a criminal record check
- Experience in leading diverse groups of people
