Ensuring safety guards/rails are kept in order
- Ensuring general site cleanliness
- Assist with all site scheduling, coordination of material ordering to meeting clients and homeowners requirements.
- Hands on approach in dealing with any repairs, deficiencies, incidents and/or issues on and off site.
- Duties includes but not limited to site cleaning, flooring and painting repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work. Preparation and cleaning of homes for occupancy.
- Coordination with all trades to ensure that work is completed as per plan, on time, and according to Orchdale's Standard.
- Complete quality control inspection and production of deficiency list for distribution to all parties involved to have it repaired.
- assists with taking site measurements and take offs as required.
- Ability to work under pressure, in a stressful time sensitive situation=
- Minimum 3-5 years in the construction industry and have experience with framing, drywall,, finishing work, paint work and tile work, general labour and site cleaning related work.
- Must be detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and proven leadership skills.
- The ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.
- Extensive knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Ontario Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and other health & safety regulations.
- Clear understanding of contracts, plans, and specifications, as well as construction methods, materials and regulations. Includes knowledge of all trades, staff responsibilities, scheduling & scopes of work.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities while using a well-developed problem solving ability to resolve issues as they arise.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the tracking and control of costs and budgets. Detailed and thorough.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, both oral and written. Willing to take responsibility and be held accountable for results.
- Must have own tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reach, stand, kneel, and climb ladders during the course of site surveys.
- Punctual, demonstrating dependable and reliable attendance pattern
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to report problems or potential issues promptly to management
- Valid G license is a must, own vehicle and tools Is preferred

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
