**Duties**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and hardware.
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures.
- Select and use appropriate tools and equipment for various carpentry tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in blueprint reading to understand project requirements.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures using various tools and techniques.
- Ability to deal with various finishes including fine detail (trim, drywall, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices accurately.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems for carpentry projects involving wiring or lighting installations.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of experience in carpentry, including experience with baseboard, drywall, trim, installing windows and doors, soffits, evestrough, siding, painting, and wall prep.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different sites as needed.
