The role
A typical day
- Develop, implement and monitor training curriculums within the Customer Care department
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions
- Research and implement new and innovative learning methodologies including effective self-paced learning, interactive game-based learning, and social learning solutions
- Collaborate with and manage the expectations of Subject Matter Experts, stakeholders etc.
- Identify issues or roadblocks to ensure programs are delivered within established timelines and budget
- Maintain a strong level of knowledge and understanding of the business needs and align training solutions to meet and exceed them
- Continuously evaluate and measure the success of initiatives by reporting on key success metrics

Your skills/experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Instructional/Training Design role
- Post-secondary education in Learning and Development, Education, Instructional Design or Communications
- Demonstrated experience developing e-learning courses and ILT training solutions
- Solid knowledge and experience with course development software (Articulate/Storyline etc.) and Learning Management System(s)
- A strong understanding of design theory including:

- Strong understanding of needs assessment strategies
- Familiarity with different development models
- Ability to work collaboratively, influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- If requested, can share sample work during interview process

Other details
- This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and credit background check
- As a condition of employment, all new employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination with a federally approved COVID-19 vaccine (or proof of a valid exemption)
- This role can be filled in Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver or Mississauga
