**POSITION: Cleaner**
**PROGRAM SUMMARY**:
The SCSA Administration team provides support for all programs and services offered through Smithers Community Services Association.

This person will be responsible to clean and sanitize the washrooms, common areas, offices, and bathrooms at the Old Train Station.
**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**:
**Reports To**: Cathryn Olmstead, Executive Director
**Direct Reports**:No direct reports
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Clean and sanitize old train station building; including common areas, hallways, washrooms, meeting rooms, classroom
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, water fountains, etc.
- Dust and/or wash down all surfaces, dust all office surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep and wash floors
- Remove garbage
- Inform the Manager when cleaning supplies are low
- Other related duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education
- Grade 10 education
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of good customer service techniques
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with all people
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and/or their families/representatives
- Ability to comply with safe work practices
- Possess good listening, problem solving and communication skills.
- Basic Level 1 technical skills required
