Construction Labourer

Prestige Homes, a division of The Shaw Group Limited (one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies) has exciting opportunities for Construction Labourers (Summer Student) to join our talented, driven, and fast-growing team. For over 50 years, Prestige Homes has been designing and building mini, modular, and multi-family homes to the highest quality and customer standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Work in a factory setting using an assembly-line approach to residential building construction
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join common building materials
- Keep work area clean to minimize hazards and disruptions
- Assist tradespersons and other skilled construction labourers in construction activities
- Safely operate pneumatic hammers and other power tools
- Participate in safety tool-box meetings

**Qualifications**
- Commitment to safety in the workplace, including knowledge and practice of workplace safety procedures
- Proficient in the use of related tools
- Previous carpentry or labourer experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with others or independently as required
