Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Decision Support, the Decision Support Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, distributing, interpreting and analyzing data-based reports, performance indicators and metrics to measure COHT, organizational and service provider performance on both a regular and ad hoc basis to support evidence-informed decision making, with a focus on Couchiching Ontario Health Teams related work while supporting OSMH work where feasible.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in health information management, a healthcare related discipline, engineering, statistics or computer science (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment working with complex and dynamic teams.
- Experience in decision support, business analysis, performance reporting, data visualization and/or health care management.
- Sound knowledge of performance improvement approaches used in healthcare and community care settings.
- Experience with one or more healthcare-related clinical or financial reporting standards (DAD, NACRS, ICD-10-CA, Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards/Management Information Systems (OHRS/MIS), RAI, etc.)
- Knowledge of performance measurement, data analysis and data warehousing techniques and methodology
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Integrated Decision Support (IDS) BI tools.
- Proven ability in using statistical approaches to data analysis.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical information to a varied audience.
- Strong ability to integrate sound analysis into diverse operations.
- Strong business acumen to integrate effectively into program operations.
- Expertise in data privacy legislation, laws and practices and in security requirements.
- Expertise in data management and forecasting.
- Good customer service skills
