Hairdresser

We are looking for a Hairdresser to join our family at Sherwood Care. We strive to be the best place to live and the best place to work. If you enjoy working with seniors and are well organized, we want to hear from you.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide hair dressing services to residents at Sherwood Care.
- Maintain hair station cleanliness/ hygienic procedures and ensure all safety standards are met. Sherwood Care will provide monthly housekeeping services.
- The Beauty salon will maintain full service for the residents.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team specifically nursing and recreation staff.
- Provide consistent quality.

**Position Requirements**:

- 2-3 years experience with seniors is preferred
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Current criminal record check including vulnerable sector
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- License/certification:

- Must be a licensed hairdresser
- Must provide proof of insurance
- WCB and liability insurance

Contract Length: 12 Months, with opportunity to extend term.
