Escape Trailer is looking for **a Fiberglass Technician** to join our growing team. This position involves **Multiple Fiberglass Functions**. One should be comfortable with body work repairs, sanding, buffing, polishing and possess great attention to detail. Escape Trailer Industries offers a fast-paced, team environment suited to motivated individuals with a positive attitude looking for a secure year-round employment.

We are a customer focused company and our trailers are manufactured from start to finish at our warehouses located in Chilliwack, BC.

**As a Fiberglass Technician, your role includes**:

- Collaborating with fellow Team members, Supervisors, and Quality Control
- Polishing, sanding, buffing, laying up and rolling fiberglass
- Inspecting and performing repairs including imperfections, fractures and holes, spraying Gelcoat
- Use various tools: Power tools
- cutting, sanding, grinding and polishing: Hand tools
- tape measures (down to the 16th)
- Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
- Problem solving with the ability to multitask & prioritize work
- Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols

**Preferred Skills/Requirements: **
- Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves or face respirators (long periods)
- Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Lift up to 50lbs
- High School Diploma
- Technical course will be considered an asset
- Fluent in English
