What You’ll Be Doing: You will be a welcomed member of the Sienna team and will be primarily responsible for the management and reporting of quality metrics for the Long Term Care and Retirement segments, along with supporting the need for other non-financial data reporting for Sienna Senior Living.
How You Will Succeed:
- Support Senior Leadership Team in a variety of analytical needs including: reporting on key performance indicators (“KPI”), benchmarking, data visualizations, and routine and ad hoc reporting
- Manage and maintain the clinical quality data set through a variety of sources - Point Click Care, Ministry website, CIHI
- Complete routine reporting of clinical quality performance outcomes - site level, regional, and business unit
- Create custom dashboards and reports to ensure our internal team can easily and efficiently get the information they need for internal operations and external reporting requirements
- Refresh and prepare the quality indicator reports for the monthly operations and Quality Committee Board report
- Synthesize large data sets into digestible information
- Lead the compilation of the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual LTC and RET compliance reports, with data from multiple internal and external sources
- Identify areas of opportunity with respect to routine reporting to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
- Facilitate Decision-Support initiatives that involve data management specific to the business operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- You have an undergraduate degree in applicable field or technical certificate and have 1-3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or similar data-analytics oriented role
- You are proficient at using relational databases and SQL (Python / R is a plus as well) and using BI tools such as PowerBI or similar
- You have strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- You have sound project management skills and advanced Excel skills
- You have the ability to analyze large data sets and present complex information and recommendations in an easy to understand manner to clients
- You have excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
- You are proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and metrics reporting
- You have demonstrated commitment to client service with the ability to work with a variety of individuals both independently and as part of a team
- You are able to make decision, exercise good judgment, discretion and initiative in dealing with confidential information and/or in responding to inquiries
