**PART-TIME CLEANER (Permanent Part-Time)**

Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for performing various warehouse duties associated with the proper maintenance and cleaning of the facility. Being part of the team, we all play a vital role in helping to maintain a clean, well-ordered, and safe working environment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean, stock and supply various facility areas including washrooms, offices, hallways, the boardroom, and the breakroom after lunches and breaks
- Emptying garbage bins in the facility and safe usage of the garbage compactor
- Assist in the cleanliness of the warehouse and the cooler
- Set up/assist with special events when required
- Monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies
- Maintain check sheets for activities such as washroom cleaning logs
- Follow health and safety guidelines for handling of cleaning products
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Health & Safety**:

- Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Conducts self with regard for the safety of employees; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
- Report any health & safety violations or hazards to a Supervisor, Coordinator, or Manager

**Good Manufacturing Practices**:

- Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
