**Overview**:

- **Edgeline Construction Ltd**_**.**is a general contractor serving the greater Moncton/Dieppe area as well as areas throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia since 2006. We have played a key role in the successful completion of a significant number of commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the **Lead Hand** will be involved with daily site tasks, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The **Lead Hand** will act as a working leader on-site, providing hands-on support and guidance to crew members while coordinating with project management.

**Required Experience**:

- 5+ years of construction experience, with lead hand responsibilities and carpentry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- WHMIS, First Aid, and other relevant safety certifications are considered assets

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in organizing and performing the daily job site activities, keeping the jobsite organized and clean
- Perform hands-on construction tasks as needed (carpentry, concrete, labouring and utilize site forklift, )
- Provide leadership and direction to crew members to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project timelines and safety regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors
- Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with management regarding site progress, issues, and resource needs
