**Summary**:

While behind the scenes, the Technical Maintenance Assistant helps with the delivery of required inspections and maintenance work thus ensuring guests and employees have a positive and safe experience.

***Responsibilities and Deliverables**:

- Understand the inspection, maintenance and recording process for both Aerial Obstacle Course (AOC) and Superfly Ziplines
- Support the inventory management of all parts and supplies, informing supervisor when items are running low
- Respond to last minute requests or changing priorities to ensure maintenance supports operational delivery. This role may require helping out other team members and departments as needed
- Supports management and care of all TAG owned equipment including but not limited to AOC, Superfly, Gear and Equipment, etc.
- Ensuring safe working practices are being used in the workshop at all times
- Work alongside TAG contractors and aid them wherever needed on projects
- Facilitate cohesive communication with supervisor and daily operations team
- Ensure the quality of the repairs coming out of the workshop are up to TAG’s set standards
- Have zero incidents on course relating to poor technical maintenance of equipment.
- They will provide support as needed for other areas of the organization including but not limited to; SF and AOC training, guiding on SF, AOC and Mechanized activities once signed off.
- Ensuring all inspections are completed on time and correctly; all courses are monitored closely and opened and closed as required
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures related to the daily opening and closing of SF and AOC activities are adhered to
- Maintain a clean and neat site (both guest and non-guest facing) and personal appearance and behave with an appropriate demeanor
- Leading by example and ensuring that the standard of delivery for activities and guest services is met and surpassed
- Anticipating and problem solve issues to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintaining accurate records of any information regarding inspections, maintenance, conflicts/problems, accidents, or incidents with clients or environment

**Key Qualifications and Attributes**:

- Education or experience in inspections or maintenance desirable.
- Strong knowledge and experience of various hand tools
- Openness to learn and grow skills
- Positive attitude and willing to be a team player and learn new skills
- Service orientation: committed and driven to provide a positive service to stakeholder (internal staff, team members, guests etc)
- Flexible to changing priorities and schedules
- First aid an asset
- Must be able to lift 30lbs and be able to work a physically demanding job, in an outdoor environment, being mobile and on your feet for the majority of the shift
