Job Title: Cook

Overview:
Join our team as a Cook at Terroir, a bustling restaurant known for its dedication to quality food and exceptional service. We are looking for a passionate individual with a flair for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. As a Cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, contributing to the creation of delicious dishes and ensuring customer satisfaction with every meal served.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with food safety standards and recipes
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Follow proper food handling procedures and guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation
- Familiarity with restaurant procedures and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for cooking and a creative approach to food presentation
- Team player with excellent communication skills

**Note: All positions are paid; internships included.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
