Part-time Psw/independent Living Assistant

_The Friends_ is recruiting Independent Living Assistants in the Muskoka area for travel to Huntsville/Bracebridge and surrounding areas in our Respite and Outreach programs.

If you are looking for meaningful work to make a difference in the lives of others, we provide comprehensive training, support and an inclusive team environment.

Independent Living Assistants provide service to individuals with physical disabilities and/or seniors by supporting them in their home with personal care, activities of daily living and encouraging/facilitating client ability to gain/maintain independence.
- PSW or equivalent
- the ability to work both with direction and independently
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- sound judgement and discretion in confidential matters
- experience and willingness to work as a team member
- excellent physical strength and stamina
- must have reliable vehicle & valid drivers license, **travel is required**

*willing and confident to drive in the Huntsville/Utterson and surrounding areas.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.91 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
