**ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT**:
Metal Fabricators create, install, fabricate and repair alloy/metal products

**MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Complete and independently plan, lay out, repair, dismantle, rebuild, maintain, install, and fabricate metal components
- Fabrication including shearing, forming, punching, drilling, grinding and welding
- Work from blueprints, sketches, manufacturer’s patterns, and construction specifications
- Adapt to new methods, processes, material and equipment

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Metal Fabricator (Fitter) 437A, Welder (456A) Certificate of Qualification
- Valid CWB tickets would be considered an asset
- All position SMAW CWB Qualification
- All position FCAW CWB Qualification
- Arc air back gouging and oxyacetylene cutting experience is an asset
- Experience in heavy steel fabrication/welding or heavy equipment field repair
- Able to work at heights
- Ability to read blueprints and do layouts working to close tolerance
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
- Demonstrated ability to work in both a team and safety-conscious environments
- Committed to Company Health and Safety
- Shift work is a requirement of the position
