**About the Company**:Kettlebeck is a low-rise builder / developer in the GTA. Projects range from townhouses to custom homes.

**Position Summary**

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of site activity. Manage and coordinate construction work crews, maintaining productivity and safety of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide daily supervision to both workers and subcontractors
- Plan project well in advance of work commencing on site
- Ensure project is being executed as per approved plans and specifications
- Coordinate and take site deliveries
- Effectively resolve problems on site
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors
- Source building materials
- Confidently communicate with workers, project manager and subcontractors
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, with high quality standards, and on budget
- Ensure safety standards are observed
- Work cohesively with the office staff
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, customer and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

**Key Competencies**
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, mechanical, landscape drawings.
- Good working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code

**Education and Experience**
- 8-10 years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a similar role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
