**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Support professional to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring that their IT-related issues are resolved efficiently.
**As a junior member of our IT team your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Helping to maintain our internal Windows network including: MS Exchange; MS Terminal Severs; and other various network aspects
- Helping to administer the Avaya phone system
- Helping to maintain our various websites
- Repair and maintain desktop and laptop computers including both hardware and software, printers and other peripheral hardware
- Updating and troubleshooting proprietary trucking industry and other software products
- Addressing general helpdesk questions
- Any other IT related items that may present themselves as part of this dynamic role
**The successful applicant must have the following qualifications**:
- At least one year of IT experience
- A diploma from BCIT as a “Technology Support Professional” or equivalent
- Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO and Powershell
- Strong knowledge of computer and troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience with/knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database would be an asset
- Prior experience using Procede Dealer Management System (DMS) would be an asset
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- An eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- A calm, professional demeanor, even when handling the most challenging of situations
- The ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and demands
- The ability/willingness to work the occasional evening and weekend and respond to some evening or weekend emergency situations
- The ability and desire to undertake additional training if/when necessary and to stay current with respect to all aspects of this position
Pay: $45,000.00-$61,254.32 per year
