**Summary**
The Panel Shop Technician is responsible for the fabrication, wiring, and assembly of high-voltage protection and SCADA panels, following detailed technical drawings and specifications. This role ensures all work meets the established quality, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Technician will work closely with the Panel Shop Manager and other team members to coordinate tasks, clarify design details, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. They must be detail-oriented, capable of troubleshooting issues, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma
- Previous experience with electrical wiring is considered an asset, but not mandatory
**Skills**
- Proficient in the use of basic hand tools.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently.
**Duties**
- Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical panel components in accordance with project requirements.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to meet client specifications.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds established standards for quality and precision.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards as outlined in Iconic’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs.
- Keep personal work area, materials and shop clean and organized.
- Consult supervisor or Panel Shop Manager when unclear about issues regarding design, construction, and quality.
- Maintain documentation for quality, safety, in section and any other record keeping as required.
- Mark-up Engineering drawings with any changes or corrections.
