We are looking for a farm worker to help tend to our Hazelnut orchard and generally maintain our larger working property.We are currently looking for a seasonal worker, with an understanding of equipment and machinery. This is a great opportunity for a college student who loves to work outside and has experience working in argriculture. However we are happy to train anyone that is willing to learn

This opportunity has potential to extend to full-time year-round employment Wage is competitive and will be based on experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive tractors and various equipment to tend to trees.
- manually plant and tend trees.
- Assist with fertilizing and pest management
- Maintain and repair orchard equipment, such as tractors, irrigation systems etc.
- Operate processing equipment after harvest, crack and bag hazelnuts.
- Keep records of orchard activity.
- Communicate with farmers to learn various farm techniques.
- Assist with various tasks around the orchard and other farm opporations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-5 months
