As part of the integration of research within the continuum of clinical services in the Child, Youth and Emerging Adult Program, the donor funded Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression and the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health offer a common clinical research focus on children, youth and families with teams investigating young people at-risk for/or experiencing depression and concurrent mental health and addictions challenges. Studies include enhancement of early detection as well investigations of the design and delivery of mental health and addictions care systems, services and policies for children, youth and families.

The Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression is seeking a highly motivated full-time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst who will provide support on an innovative longitudinal clinical research project focused on identification of risk indicators for onset/relapse of depression within youth. The study will employ wearable devices to test the association between biological/behavioural markers and depression relapse, and to build a tool to predict relapse.

Reporting to the Principal Investigators and the research manager, responsibilities will include: maintaining recruitment protocols (i.e., providing information about the studies to patients, families, and mental health professionals), supporting the development and posting of media advertising the study, scheduling and conducting eligibility screenings, obtaining informed consent, scheduling and conducting data collection visits, administering questionnaires and interviews, and assisting with the preparation of research ethics and regulatory submissions, presentations and manuscripts (i.e., conducting literature searches, verifying references, preparing data, conducting simple data analyses) and other knowledge translation products.

Responsibilities will also include providing assistance in preparing research materials/packages, organizing and maintaining study records, collecting, coding and entering data, monitoring data integrity, ensuring the secure storage and maintenance of study records, assisting in the recruitment and training of research volunteers and students, providing administrative support to the researchers (e.g. booking meetings, communicating and coordinating tasks with other research team members, processing participant remuneration, filing financial documentation and performing other duties in the research office as required).

The Research Analyst will conduct study activities in compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, including Research Ethics Board (REB) and CAMH Research Quality and Regulatory Affairs requirements.

**Salary Range**: $25.03 - $33.38 per hour
