**Junior Warehouse Coordinator**

We are looking for a self-sufficient, motivated individual who is looking to work in the areas of shipping & receiving, inventory and logistics management. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in advancing themselves within a growing business. In this multifaceted position you will be challenged in the areas of Purchasing & Inventory Management, Quality Assurance, Production Scheduling, Customer Service and Shipping & Receiving.

Rodger Industries is a manufacturer and distributor of stainless steel components for food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing & Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate counts of incoming and outgoing inventory
- Manage inventory of all raw materials, finished goods and items for resale
- Initiate action to replenish stock
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and what was received
- Quality Assurance
- Address quality related and warranty issues with domestic and international suppliers
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Production Scheduling
- Assist in creating, maintaining and prioritizing production schedules
- Maintain production records
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Identify production problems and help improve processes
- Customer Service
- Interacting with customers over the phone to assist with delivery status update and non-compliance or quality related issues
- Shipping & Receiving
- Process incoming requisitions which include picking and packing orders
- Ship orders with the proper packing slip
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents
- Load, unload, or move materials or finished goods to designated storage areas using a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

- Minimum college diploma in a related field or 3+ years’ work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Takes pride in accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Passionate about great service & teamwork
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Software such as Excel, Word and Outlook

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
