We are seeking an experienced and qualified bookkeeper to perform all AP/financial duties independently with mínimal oversight.

The role of Bookkeeper is responsible for all payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable processing, while the duties of Office Administrator are to provide key support to the Office Manager in all front office functions and is the secondary point of tenant contact.

**Bookkeeper Duties/Requirements**:

- Responsible for all bookkeeping requirements for 5 companies including quarterly HST remittances, processing monthly payroll remittances and WSIB.
- Completion of monthly and year-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations
- Reconcile inter-company accounts on a monthly basis
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Compile and provide year-end information and reports to accountant
- Complete government paperwork for farm operation
- Manage accounts payable, including bill payments and cheque preparation
- Manage account receivables, generate and distribute all invoicing

**Office Administrator Duties**:

- Backup Office Manager for greeting and communicating with tenants
- Answer office phone
- Maintain effective filing systems (both digital and physical)

**Knowledge, Skill and Abilities**:

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word (including the use of tables), Excel, and Outlook
- Consistently maintains a professional demeanour, appearance, and work environment

**Education and Experience**:

- College certificate in accounting or university degree in business or another related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience in using MS Office and Sage Accounting software
- Knowledge of agriculture operations considered an asset
- A keen attention to detail

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $31,200.00-$36,400.00 per year
