**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Planning and Coordination**
- Review and validate project scope, estimates, and proposals.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans including schedules, resources, budgets, and key milestones.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of AV integration projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
**Team Leadership and Collaboration**
- Build and maintain strong project teams by collaborating with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they meet project timelines.
- Ensure all team members have the tools and resources they need to be successful
**Customer Relations and Communication**
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
- Anticipate and resolve issues proactively, minimizing disruptions to the project flow.
**Financial Management**
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs stay within approved estimates.
- Track project revenues and expenses and report to senior management.
- Manage and document change orders, ensuring proper approvals and financial tracking.
**Quality Control and Safety**
- Ensure that all project work adheres to company and industry standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
**Project Closeout**
- Ensure all deliverables are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
- Oversee the handover of the completed AV system, including training for the client and submission of all necessary documentation (e.g., as-built drawings, operation manuals).
- Manage the completion of all financial obligations, including final billing and the initiation of warranty periods.
**Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records, including project timelines, budgets, change orders, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in managing AV integration or construction projects, preferably within the commercial sector.
**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
- Familiarity with AV systems, installation processes, and industry standards is a plus.
**Tools & Systems**
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Dtools, Jetbuilt, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (e.g., system diagrams, electrical schematics).
**Additional Requirements**
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise.
- Ability to travel as needed to job sites across the region.
