**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate activities of food service staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Train and develop staff on food handling procedures, customer service skills, and operational protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management related to food service operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members.
- Manage shifts effectively to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

**Skills**
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
- Experience in quick service & fast food restaurant settings as well as fine dining environments.
- Proficient in inventory control and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to train staff effectively in culinary techniques and hospitality management practices.
- Experience in kitchen management, including shift management and operational oversight.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes within the food industry is advantageous.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and promote a positive work environment.
