**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications
- Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, floors, frost walls, garages and decks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures as needed - including flooring, drywall, millwork repair work
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform thorough inspections and quality control (QC) checks at multiple stages of construction using established checklists.
- Resolve on-site issues with trade partners and team members as they arise, ensuring mínimal delays
- Manage material deliveries and be willing to handle pick-ups or returns as needed
- Supervise tradespeople and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Ensure the worksite is safe, secure, and clean, adhering to OH&S guidelines and legislation
- Prepare the site for City Inspections by ensuring cleanliness and compliance
- Build walkways for daily access and ensure overall site cleanliness, including sweeping, shoveling, and waste removal
- Assist in the construction of homes per standard specifications, plans, and requested changes
- Perform on-site finishing tasks such as flooring installation, feature walls, and other specialized work using company-provided tools and equipment
- Conduct repairs and address seasonal deficiencies, both pre
- and post-possession

**Experience**
- Proven experience in carpentry or construction is mandatory
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Experience in framing, finishing, and restoration work is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
