**Duties**: - Development of Building Information Models for water and wastewater infrastructure design utilizing Revit 3D modelling software. - Leadership in the implementation of RVA’s BIM execution plan and BIM standards across all water and wastewater projects. - Preparation of design and record drawings for projects. - Preparation of REVIT design drawings.
- Create REVIT drawings from mark-ups or based on instructions from Senior Engineers. - Utilize to translate mark-ups/sketches into drawings consistent with company standards; check drawings for consistency with standards and plot final drawings; correctly label final work drawings; and update contract drawings and specifications. - Reviewing engineering drawings and standards. - As-constructed surveys and review of as-constructed surveys and preparation of as-constructed drawings.
- Communicate with other disciplines on a project by project basis - Assist in field activities to gather project information, as necessary. - Other duties as required where appropriate for the position. Qualifications: - A graduate of a recognized BIM Management program. - A graduate of a 3-year college level civil engineering technologist program or a 2-year civil engineering technician program would be considered favorably - A minimum of 1 year of relevant design experience of water and wastewater facilities.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. - Adept at producing plan/profile drawings using AutoCAD is required. - Experience using REVIT is required. - Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
