Firehouse Subs Barrie/Orillia/Angus/Vaughan/Woodbridge is looking for experienced supervisors who can lead a team. Shift leaders are critical to the daily success of the restaurant. This position requires leadership and a positive attitude to lead a team during opening or closing shifts.

Part of our mission is to serve hearty and flavorful food, and it has to be done right As a restaurant shift leader, you are a leader and on the front lines of our operation; standards must be exceeded to ensure we execute our mission effectively.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Open and close the restaurant
- Track inventory on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
- Providing leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® “culture” and mission and vision statements.
- Assists the GM/Owner in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
- Actively participates in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
- Represents Firehouse Subs® in a professional, positive manner at all times.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.
- Ensure guests have a warm and welcoming dining experience through friendly, attentive behaviour and strong product knowledge
- Conduct the activities required to create our unique sub sandwich, and successfully maintain high quality, accuracy and speed of service to all guests
- Communicate, coach and train fellow teammates with a professional, positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $18.60 per hour
