Apprentice Hairdresser/ Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Learn a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling according to client preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records, social media and check out.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Proficient in hair styling techniques - portfolio recommended
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling products is a plus.
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the salon environment.
- Front desk experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 21 per week
