Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure transportation needs for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Qualify suppliers to ensure territory coverage on criteria like pricing, delivery, and customer service.
- Request quotes from multiple sources, assign carriers, and issue POs to the respective vendors.
- Follow up for on-time delivery and relay the information to the concerned departments.
- Approve supplier bills for payment and dispute any discrepancies.
- Prepare orders originating from the office warehouse, ship, and log related transactions in the system.
- Analyze return labels (RMA), provide disposition, and log related transactions in the system.
- Receive inbound shipments, count items against packing lists, and log related transactions in our system.
- Assist management with inventory count (spot check, cycle counts, and yearly).
- Organize the office warehouse and maintain a clean work environment.
- Address any quality issues with the Manager, propose solutions, and follow up to improve processes.
- Perform any other tasks deemed necessary for efficient operations.

Requirements for this position:

- Relevant experience in logistics (transportation) and a warehouse environment (order preparation, inventory control, etc.).
- Forklift experience is an asset, not required. However, training can be provided.
- AEC, DEC, or technical diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to assess situations and provide quick and efficient solutions while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Bilingual in French and English, both orally and in writing.
