At EPIQ Machinery, we blur the lines between being a technology company and a heavy machinery manufacturer, by continuously integrating new technologies into our equipment. We are currently looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement team at our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville location.

**The main responsibilities of the job are**:

- Work with suppliers to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery times.
- Use our ERP system to generate, issue and receive purchase orders.
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Review and update current purchase orders.
- Negotiate prices with external suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance.
- Where possible, identify external suppliers as a source of supply.
- Perform data entry, filing of documents and files.
- Assist accounts payable with the invoicing of orders.
- Other procurement related administrative functions.

**Qualification and Experience**
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- College technical diploma and/or equivalent experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good computer skills with intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads and thrive in a fast-paced environment
