We are hiring Resident Support Workers for the following positions:
Permanent Part Time & Casual

Resident Support Workers support residents in transitioning forward in their lives, optimizing their physical and mental health and well being as they do so. They monitor resident living areas and assist residents in accessing various services where necessary. They ensure facility cleanliness by supervising resident clean up. They ensure safety and security of all residents through observation and interaction with residents. They facilitate health and well being through the self-administration of medication, and appointment reminders, issuing of donations, etc.

Night shift workers are also responsible for auditing all resident medications, and ensuring residents are settled throughout the night. While working alone.

A valid First Aid and CPR certificate is required and you must be able to provide a clear criminal record/vulnerable sector check, and pass a social development check.

Applicants should have some experience of working with vulnerable populations, be mature and respectful in their approach, have excellent judgement/critical thinking skills, a strong sense of responsibility, have good communication skills, be able to work alone and as part of a team, and be reliable and dependable. Life skills/experience is a definite asset in this role.
