In this role, you will focus on two important areas of our business, risk and compliance processes and documentation and software support documentation.

**About this role**:
In risk and compliance, your objective is to help ensure our company fulfills our commitments to clients and complies with our legal obligations and applicable industry standards. You will be responsible for writing and managing internal and external documentation and communications, as well as developing, reviewing, implementing, and continuously improving company best practices and processes across various departments. You will be asked to identify and recommend solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks, facilitate discussions, and steward initiatives and projects.

For our software products, you will be writing and maintaining supporting system documentation, such as user instructions, visual help guides, tutorial videos, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

**What you bring to the table**:

- A minimum of 3 years of proven editing/writing experience
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Have a proven track record of copy editing and proof reading, meeting commitments and demonstrating integrity at all times
- Possess strong research and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Inspire trust through openness, honesty, and transparency in communications
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Independently research, perform evaluations, and make recommendations
- Ability to work within a team or independently
- Strong command of Microsoft Word

**Here's what you'll be doing**:

- Writing, editing, and updating FAQs, user guides, tutorials, and instruction pages for our software.
- Writing, editing, and updating the language on user interfaces of our software for clarity, conciseness, and optimal user experience.
- Developing, reviewing, implementing, and continuously improving company best practices, procedures, training, and processes.
- Maintaining knowledge of our BIStrainer software, SafeTapp mobile app, and cross functional best practices and processes as they relate to the company’s compliance requirements.
- Facilitating internal and third-party cross-functional audits and assessments and providing writing services for compliance reports where needed.
- Assessing the impacts of new and existing company decisions and actions on our compliance requirements with the support of the Leadership team.
- Identifying emerging trends and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations to Leadership to address risks, and driving initiatives to completion.
- Resolving compliance issues and facilitating investigations to ensure action items and long-term initiatives to address them are completed or resolved.
- Communicating and reporting on security and compliance to the Leadership team, key stakeholders, and prospective and existing clients when needed and on an ongoing basis.

Salary ranges are based on experience, reflecting the unique skillset each individual brings to the role. In addition to this salary, we offer full medical (health, dental, and vision) coverage as well as life insurance and disability insurance.
