We are looking for a passionate HR professional to help drive our culture and engagement strategy. The
**Employee Experience Business Partner** will work alongside the Director of Culture, Wellness and Engagement to promote Wattpad’s culture and guiding principles to employees across all geographies. As part of the People Team, you will work with people managers to utilize our engagement data and remote work policies to create a fluid work environment and champion a culture where individuals have the opportunity to practice wellness and are empowered to take ownership of their health.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Advise and support our leadership team on all culture/wellness and engagement -related matters
- Support the roll out of Wattpad’s annual engagement survey through: Visual and written communications, helping to build presentations to leadership and their teams
- Own weekly All Hands presentation, Core monthly lunch & learn presentation
- Working with the Director, Culture, Wellness & Engagement and People Managers to hold them accountable for their annual plans.
- Work with the Senior Manager People Operations and HR Business Partners to translate engagement results to assist their roles with each of their client groups.
- Execute Wattpad’s annual IRL event (multi-day, in-person event for 350+ employees); everything from working with our events partner, crafting moments of connection for employees and planning the marketing strategy/,materials and working across the organization for development of content
- Participate in develop and roll out initiatives across all disparate verticals of Wattpad and Wattpad WEBTOON Studios for the purposes of ensuring people feel heard, seen, taken care of, as well as, creatively inspired and empowered.
- Support the Director, Culture, Wellness & Engagement to design, evaluate, propose and implement wellness programs and ensure programs are competitive and support long-term corporate goals

**What you'll need**:

- Two or more years experience as an HR Business Partner/HR Generalist who has a passion for engagement and using data to drive change
- Experience in running/participating in engagement surveys, bonus if it;s been with Culture Amp
- Relationship-building skills. (You have a rapport with people from all walks of life, you’re a good listener who works hard to understand others, and you can thoughtfully and maturely handle tough situations with lots of grey area.)
- You can multitask and manage competing priorities without dropping any balls
- Direct communicator. (You don’t hesitate to [thoughtfully and respectfully] offer candid constructive feedback to senior leaders or peers at the moment.)
- Peerless communication skills, both in writing and in person. (You get “you’re so good with words” a lot - people ask you all the time to edit things for them. In particular, you’re experienced and comfortable writing for other people’s voices.)
- ** Bonus points** for superior creative design sensibilities. (You don’t necessarily have to be an ace designer, but you can direct aesthetic details to perfection with thoughtful, clear feedback.)
- Problem-solving mindset. (You don’t bring anyone problems; just solutions.
- You always think “What would I do if I were in charge?” and have a course of action in mind before taking the challenge back to the team.)
- Track record of agility, adapting to ambiguity and thriving in a fast-moving environment. (When the going gets tough, you go with the flow, and you have a great sense of humor all the while.)
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience
