If you have experience in automotive installation or upfitting, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:
Install emergency equipment such as light bars, sirens, communication devices, push bumpers, partitions, and auxiliary power supplies.

Disassemble and reassemble vehicles to ensure proper routing of wiring and mounting of components.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to ensure all installations meet both client and industry standards.

Conduct troubleshooting and repair on installed systems, including 12/24-volt DC systems.

Work independently and in teams, collaborating with supervisors to meet tight deadlines.

Ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with all safety and installation guidelines.

Qualifications:
Electrical/Automotive background: Prior experience in automotive electrical work or aftermarket upfitting (2+ years preferred).

Knowledge of emergency vehicle systems: Familiarity with wiring schematics and equipment used in emergency vehicles is a strong asset.

Mechanical skills: Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a vehicle installation context.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments (standing, bending, lifting).

Driver’s license (Class B CDL with endorsements is a plus).

Attention to detail: Strong focus on quality workmanship and problem-solving.

EVT (Emergency Vehicle Technician) certification is a plus but not required.

Strong communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
