**Job Summary**:
Strauss Contracting Services is looking to fill multiple positions for Production Testing Technicians to execute various projects throughout Central and Northern Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan. In this role, you will be responsible for performing production testing on oil and gas wells to measure flow rates, pressures, and other key metrics. Your expertise will help optimize production and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate production testing equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Measure and record flow rates, pressures, and other relevant data from oil and gas wells.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on testing equipment.
- Collect and analyze samples to determine oil, gas, and water content.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results to clients and management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices and technologies.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- ¾ or 1-ton truck (Diesel preferred)
- Basic Tools (Tool list will be provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in oil and gas production preferred.
- Proven experience as a Production Testing Technician or similar role in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of production testing equipment and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions, including remote locations and extreme weather.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided).
- Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) experience considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Travel to remote job sites is required.
- Outdoor work environment, including exposure to extreme weather conditions.
- Physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Exposure to high-pressure lines, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals.

**Application Requirements**:

- Submit a resume and three references.
- Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSO tickets.
- We will provide TDG and WHMIS training as these need to be company-specific.

**Additional Information**:

- Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
- Pay: $450.00 - $750.00 per day
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day and night)
