We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Vertical Sales Business Development Manager**to join our growing team. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the unique needs and challenges of a particular vertical (K-12 plus Municipalities), building relationships with key decision-makers, and achieving sales targets within the designated industry.

**Location**: On-site | 88 Fulton Way, Richmond Hill, ON
**Type**: Full-Time | Salary + Benefits + Paid Time Off
**Reports to**: VP Sales, B2B

**Job Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or sales
- 5+ years sales experience or in a related field, demonstrating practical skills in sales and customer interaction
- Certifications in sales or marketing are an asset
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with CRM systems and other sales tools
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- Ability to address challenges and find solutions to improve sales performance
- Ability to building relationships with team members and clients
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Strong understanding of business principles, including marketing, finance, and operations
- Ability to negotiate deals and close sales
- Eligibility to work in Canada

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement sales strategies that are tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the chosen vertical
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within the target vertical, including end-users and channel partners
- Identify and qualify leads within the vertical market, and manage them through the sales pipeline
- Achieve sales targets and quotas within the designated vertical market by closing deals and expanding existing business
- Work with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support
- Track and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust the sales strategy as needed
- Occasional provincial/interprovincial travel will be required
