**About the Role**
We’re looking for a **Warehouse Technician** to join our team and help take Southland Trailers to the next level. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that works together to drive innovation, quality, and success. If you’re a self-starter who loves challenges, we want to hear from you
**What You’ll Do**
- Pick, pack, and deliver materials to production lines as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Replenish materials on time to prevent production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and check for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document received goods and update inventory records.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate logistics and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse in compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or materials handling, ideally within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Journeyperson Parts Technician certification is an asset, along with experience in production materials planning.
- PFEP (Plan for Every Part) experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to meet operational demands.
