Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations, you'll collaborate with employees and leaders to deliver value-added services that drive our business forward. Key elements of this role include: - ** Strategic Partnership**: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. - ** Customer Focus**: Exhibit a customer-centric mindset - ** Leadership Support**: Coach, challenge, and support leaders at all levels to enhance their effectiveness. - ** Policy Guidance**: Offer interpretation and guidance on HR policies, legislation, and collective agreements. - ** Employee Support**: Assist with employee issues and provide investigation support as needed. - ** HR Initiatives**: Lead the planning, delivery, and facilitation of key HR initiatives. These skills will make you successful: - ** Education**: Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, business or an equivalent combination of education and experience - ** Experience**: Minimum 5 years experience in an HR Business Partner, generalist or specialist role in a unionized environment. - ** Certifications**: CPHR would be considered an asset. - ** Critical Thinking**: Analytical skills with a focus on collaboration and achieving 'win-win' outcomes. - ** Communication & Influence**: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. - ** Facilitation Skills**: Ability to facilitate training sessions and meetings effectively. - ** Labour Relations Expertise**: Knowledge and experience in labor relations and workplace investigations We understand that experience comes in many forms, and we’re dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team.
