**Title**:Labourer/Skilled Labourer

**Location**:Various locations across York Regon and GTA surroundings

**Reports to**:Estimators, Carpenters, Skilled Labourers

**Overview**

**Tasks**
- Perform daily construction/demolition work
- Work in a safe manner following all health and safety policies
- Keep work area clean and tidy on a daily basis
- Work as a team with other contractors to complete projects on time
- Willingness to learn and grow ons skillsets
- Assist Site Supervisor and maintain clean, safe workspace
- General carpentry duties and other assigned tasks from the Site Supervisor
- Remaining informed and in-the-know on the general scope of work
- Foster positive communications and relationships with clients and sub-contractors
- Perform other duties, as assigned by Project Manager
- Visit various on-going projects, if required
- Assist in excavating, demolition, formwork, waterproofing, landscaping, finishing, and all other aspects of general construction
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to the work area
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment
- perform any other construction labor-related tasks as required
- Assist with the forming, pouring, and finishing on concrete projects as required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outside in all types of weather.

**Skills**
- Rough and Finish Carpentry (Flooring - Hardwood/Laminate, Windows and Doors, etc.)
- Painting, Drywall, Taping, and Mudding

**Work Conditions**

Work hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

Additional: We are a 24/7 emergency service company and have to perform emergencies outside of regular working hours. Emergency calls after 5:00 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends will be paid at double time.

Travel requirements: Travel to and from job sites in the GTA

Environment conditions: Going into houses that have had floods, fires and could contain mold or asbestos.
