**Job description**

Isidore Landscapes Inc. has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the lower mainland since 1994. We’ve built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects. Our technical expertise allows us to interpret, create, install, and maintain varied and complex landscape designs for all types of landscape projects.

**Overview**:
Isidore Landscapes is looking to hire an experienced Irrigation technician to keep up with our increasing amount of work in commercial landscape installations for the coming year.

We install challenging commercial landscapes on new developments throughout the lower mainland, and have been doing so since 1994.

The core duties of the position are as follows, and must be met to a high degree of proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation drawings and installation instructions.
- Proficiency in installing and repairing various types of irrigation systems (e.g., irrigation drip line, sprinklers and rotors).
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve irrigation system issues.
- Good English communication skills to interact with clients.
- BC driver’s license(Class 5) with good driving record
- Experience with water features and landscape lighting an asset

**Requirements**:

- 1-2+ years of landscape installation and maintaining experience and or related transferable skills
- Knowledge on irrigation principles and water management techniques. Knowledge of irrigation strategies for efficient water use, including city water restrictions and various plant needs.
- Knowledge on irrigation components (e.g., solenoid valves, controllers including battery operated, 2 wire, and wifi controlled, backflow and autofill devices, rain sensors, etc).
- Knowledge on winterization and spring start-up procedures.
- Able to work alone.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to lift ~50lbs semi regularly.
- Must be punctual & reliable.
- Must possess excellent customer service
- IIABC Certification an asset.
