**The role**:
The role of the Onboarding Ambassador is to provide guidance to our new sales and account management employees during their first three months of employment. This role is critical to ensure that our new hires have a positive and successful transition into their new roles. You will share your Global Payments expertise, to ensure that our new employees have all the resources required to be successful.
What you will do**:
- Provide feedback from the new hires who will help determine who the appropriate support resources is to help them with the questions
- Create policies and handbooks that detail the company operations
- Welcome new hires with prepared onboarding kits and an office tour
- Introduce new hires to their team members, and other GP departments via meet and greets
- Provide new hires with manuals, guidelines, and passwords, as needed
- Detail all new hires' initial tasks to ensure a smooth onboarding process and answer any queries
- Request systems set-up and access for hardware and software including but not limited to: Google products (Accessing Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, etc.), Dialpad, Gears, WorkDay, Certify, Avaya Cloud, Salesforce, Salesforce Engage, Digital Asset Manager, Learning Management Systems, Merchant Information System (MIS), Intranet, Ariba (if applicable) and other applicable digital tools.
- Work with the product and IT teams to ensure that new hires receive their required computers, hardware, and demo terminal in a timely manner
- Suggest automation opportunities to enhance and ensure new hire employee experience is exceptional
- Handle day-to-day operations and serve as the first point of contact for new-hires to address and resolve their requests, concerns and inquiries
- Work with other departments to improve onboarding processes and procedures
- Works closely with the sales support administrators and our training coordinator. Provides administrative and event planning support to the support teams of our organization when required
What we’re looking for**:
- Must be fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated excellent skills in employee relations
- Exceptional teamwork, engagement and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proactive, and takes responsibility to find solutions and results to problems through persistence and initiative
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with minimum supervision.
- A strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to assist employees with operational training requests utilizing excellent follow up skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines and excel at organization in a fast-paced environment combined with a high degree of attention to accuracy and detail
- Technically savvy and proficient in Google Workspace
