Brandt is seeking an experienced Social Media Copywriter with a unique gift for turning key strategic messages into compelling headlines and body copy that turns heads and captures hearts. The Social Media Copywriter will report to the Director of Corporate Voice.

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent certification in marketing, communications, journalism, English or a similar major, including courses in marketing principles, advertising, creative writing, editorial writing, media studies and editing
- Proven track record for creating clear, concise social media content that precisely communicates key strategic value messages to specified audiences
- Experienced in writing compelling keyword-optimized marketing content for SEO, SEM/display, social, SMS, blog posts, eblasts, etc.
- Hands-on experience with multiple social media platforms
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with online paid advertising
- The ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible and excellence-focused attitude, passionate about contributing to team wins
- Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to listen well, learn quickly, conduct research, and assimilate large amounts of information
- Excellent time management abilities; able to prioritize time and resources efficiently, and prepare for and welcome the unexpected

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on target audience behaviors
- Improve and adjust copy based on reactions by readers on social media.
- Convert current marketing campaigns/concepts into a hashtag, blog, or longer posts for different social media networks.
- Adhere to style guide and editorial standards to reinforce the brand voice of the company
- Other copywriting, as required
