**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment both in-shop and at customer locations, palletizing products for outbound shipments, responding promptly to service inquiries, and overseeing day-to-day activities in the service department to ensure timely and effective resolutions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Palletize products for shipment and assist the warehouse team as needed.
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of gas-powered and electric equipment (e.g., generators, power trowels, compactors, pressure washers, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Perform basic welding as needed for equipment servicing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on-site or at customer locations.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and scheduled service calls in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain clear records of repairs, service calls, and parts used.
- Coordinate with other departments and update customers on service timelines and repair progress.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Maintain the organization and workflow of the service department, including parts inventory and job scheduling.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven experience in small engine repair (e.g., Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton).
- Basic welding skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and manage repairs in the field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Certification in small engine, mechanical, or equipment repair.
- Experience with construction or industrial equipment.
- Bilingual in English/French or English/Spanish is an asset.

**COMPENSATION**:

- Competitive hourly wage or per-call rate**:$18.50-$30.00/hour** based on experience.
